Honey Simple Syrup
A.K.A Liquid Honey
Ingredients:
· 1 cup honey
· 1 cup warm water
· 6 Sage Leaves (Optional)
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the honey, sage leaves and water and bring to boil over medium high
heat, stirring constantly until honey dissolves. About 3-5 minutes.
2. Remove from heat and let cool for about 30 minutes. Discard sage leaves.
MAKE-AHEAD: Store honey simple syrup in an airtight container for up to two weeks. If storing in a refrigerator, make sure to reheat mixture in a saucepan before using (this will help achieve the original consistency and will be easier to dissolve into the drink).
